I’m going to hike 250 miles in 2017. Last year, between March and December, I hiked a little over 90. That’s not enough.
I picked 250 because I want to challenge myself. I want to get stronger. I want to put more miles on my new boots. I want to explore with my dear friends and feel the awesomeness of this great big beautiful world. And I want to write fearlessly about these experiences, so I won’t forget.
The Pacific Northwest is full to its mossy brim with beautiful trails. I’m hungry for them. I want to reach peaks, see waterfalls, stand among mountains and in valleys. I want to feel small and huge at the same time.
It’s a new year, full of promise and starting with passion.
Welcome to 2017 Footsloggers. I hope you’re all going to challenge yourselves this year.
